"Media Introduction" Brunei Signing Ceremony

On December 3, the signing ceremony for the Brunei Bus Digitalization Project, represented by Zenmov, was held in the capital of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan. We would like to introduce the media coverage from Brunei this time.

The launch of the public transportation project in Brunei is groundbreaking, and the details of the signing ceremony were widely reported on television and in newspapers.

The Brunei newspaper 'Borneo Bulletin' reported on the ceremony the day after it occurred ( https://borneobulletin.com.bn/en-route-to-improved-bus-services-2/, dated December 4, 2022) (Figure 10), and the following week published an explanatory article about the project ( https://borneobulletin.com.bn/a-smooth-ride/, dated December 8, 2022) (Figure 11).

The explanatory article quotes Tanaka from Zenmov, who said, “In order to advance the digitalization of buses in Bandar Seri Begawan, we visited over 800 bus stops and confirmed their precise locations, provided explanations of Zenmov's traffic management system SMOC, which will be implemented by the bus company, and conducted driver training. The project is progressing smoothly. This pilot operation is the first phase, and we would like to continue building a unique bus operation system suitable for Brunei.”

The title of the explanatory article is succinctly titled “A smooth ride” which is also the goal of Zenmov's bus digitalization project.
