Macnica Announces New Self-Driving EV Bus "EVO3" Manufactured by Its Subsidiary, Navya Mobility

Our business partner, Macnica Inc., announced the start of sales for the new self-driving EV bus "EVO3" (Evosuri) manufactured by its subsidiary Navya Mobility SAS.

Vehicle Overview: Up to 15 passengers (11 seats + 4 standing), approximately 10 hours of operation, realizing operation without an operator.

Main Features

• Safety: Navya Drive adopted, compliant with IEC61508, maximum speed of 30 km/h.

• Recognition and Driving Performance: 360° vision with updated sensors / redundancy, enhanced site mapping, obstacle avoidance, lane changing, signal and emergency vehicle recognition through ML/AI.

• Remote Operation: Real-time monitoring with high-performance cameras and VOIP, enhanced data collection and analysis. Depending on conditions, Level 4 (unmanned inside the vehicle) operation is possible, reducing TCO.

Market Development

• Japan: Transitioning from demonstration to regular operation. Expanding sales as low-speed mobility for public transport. A broad-area demonstration in 5 cities in the Tōnō region of Gifu Prefecture + Gero City was adopted as a government project. Strengthening sales in cooperation with NTT West Japan.

• Overseas: Zenmov will partner in September 2025 to expand sales in the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
