Macnica Announces the New Autonomous EV Bus "EVO3" Manufactured by Its Subsidiary Navya Mobility

Our business partner, Macnica, Inc., has announced the start of sales for the new autonomous EV bus "EVO3" (Evothree) manufactured by its subsidiary Navya Mobility SAS.
Vehicle Overview: Maximum 15 passengers (11 seats + 4 standing), Approximately 10 hours of operation, Achieving operation without an operator.
Main Features
Safety: Adopted Navya Drive, compliant with IEC61508, maximum speed of 30 km/h.
Recognition and Driving Performance: Updated sensors provide 360° vision/redundancy, enhanced site mapping, obstacle avoidance, lane change, signal, and emergency vehicle recognition using ML/AI.
Remote Operation: Real-time monitoring with high-performance cameras and VOIP, strengthened data collection and analysis. Depending on conditions, level 4 (unmanned inside the vehicle) operation is possible, reducing TCO.
Market Deployment
Japan: Transitioning from proof of concept to regular operation. Expanding sales as low-speed mobility for public transportation. A wide-area demonstration in five cities of the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture plus Gero City has been selected for a government project. Strengthening sales in collaboration with NTT West Japan.
Overseas: Partnering with Zenmov to expand sales in the Middle East, Asia, and North America in September 2025.
