[Acquisition of Special Operating Permit from LTFRB] Paid operations using public bus vehicles equipped with SMOC are scheduled to begin

In the NEDO project utilizing the cloud-based public transportation operation management system (SMOC) by Zenmov, which is being promoted in New Clark City, northwest of the National Capital Region in Manila, the Philippines, official approval has been granted by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

It is extremely rare for foreign companies to obtain a special operating permit in the Philippines and conduct paid operations on public roads. This project's realization is due to the significant trust and support from BCDA and LTFRB. With the permission obtained, which is usually considered difficult, it is planned to start paid operations in earnest in collaboration with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the local company MC Metro Transport Operation Inc. (MMTOI) beginning December 2.
