CEO Sumio Tanaka has won the "2025 Kuramae Venture Award"

Sumio Tanaka, the CEO of Zenmov Inc., has won the "2025 Kuramae Venture Award" organized by the Kuramae Industrial Association (Tokyo University of Science Alumni Association). The award ceremony was held on November 27, 2025, at the Kuramae Hall of the Tokyo University of Science.
The Kuramae Venture Award honors individuals, companies, and organizations that have made significant contributions to industry and society through entrepreneurship and venture management, targeting graduates and affiliates of the Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Tokyo University of Science).
This award is highly regarded for the efforts made under the philosophy of providing "optimal mobility without waste," focusing on the smart mobility platform "SMOC (Smart Mobility Operation Cloud)," optimizing public and on-demand transportation operations, providing operation management SaaS for local businesses, and engaging in demonstrative and social implementation across multiple cities, including overseas.
Zenmov will take this award as motivation and continue to contribute to sustainable and comfortable mobility as well as urban and regional development through smart mobility technology and data utilization.

Profile of the Representative
CEO Sumio Tanaka
After graduating from the Department of Life Science and Technology at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, he worked at Hewlett-Packard Japan, engaging in SCM system development and business development for telecommunications providers. He later obtained an MBA in the Netherlands and joined SoftBank Corp. He has been involved in many new business developments, including the launch and operation of the MVNO business, planning and promotion of location services, and planning and promotion of MaaS projects (NEDO demonstration projects, etc.) in the Philippines and Japan. In 2019, he established Zenmov Inc. and is working to expand the smart mobility business primarily in Japan and Southeast Asia.
