Zenmov Corporation Signs MOU with Emirates Driving Company (Abu Dhabi) for Smart Mobility Expansion in the Middle East

Zenmov Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Zenmov) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as MOU) with Emirates Driving Company (hereinafter referred to as EDC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (hereinafter referred to as UAE) on January 28, 2025, for the purpose of deploying smart mobility solutions.

Objective

This MOU aims to promote the introduction and deployment of smart mobility solutions in the UAE and neighboring Middle Eastern countries through cooperation between EDC and Zenmov.

• Emirates Driving Company: Building a foundation for business development by leveraging networks with local government agencies and enterprises, and promoting business as our point of contact in the UAE and neighboring Middle Eastern countries.

• Zenmov: Providing technological and product services in the field of smart mobility, cultivated in Japan and Southeast Asia, to government agencies and enterprises in the UAE and neighboring Middle Eastern countries through EDC.

Overview of the MOU Signing Ceremony

The signing of the MOU took place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Abu Dhabi during the Japan-Abu Dhabi Economic Council (ADJEC) Infrastructure Working Group “Transportation Workshop 2024,” under the auspices of Abu Dhabi Mobility and the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME). Last year, our company reported and proposed a transport management system at the same workshop. Additionally, through a commissioned project by the Japanese government, we have been working on business demonstrations in the UAE's smart mobility market. This year, we were adopted for the “FY 2024 Middle East Oil and Gas Country Investment Promotion Project (Feasibility Study)” conducted by JCCME, and under the support of JCCME for startup businesses, we conducted business validation in the UAE, leading to the signing of this MOU.

Future Developments

With the signing of this MOU, both companies will collaborate with other Japanese companies to accelerate the development of smart mobility in the UAE and neighboring Middle Eastern countries, contributing to the construction of safe and efficient transportation infrastructure.
