[Acquisition of Special Operation Permit by LTFRB] Payment Operations Using Public Buses Equipped with SMOC Scheduled to Start
The NEDO project utilizing Zenmov's cloud-based public transportation management system (SMOC) in New Clark City, northwest of Metro Manila in the Philippines, has officially received permission from the Philippine Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
It is quite rare for foreign companies to obtain special operation permits to conduct paid operations on public roads in the Philippines, and the realization of this project is greatly attributed to the significant trust and support from BCDA and LTFRB. With the permission that is usually difficult to obtain, a full-scale operation is scheduled to start charging from December 2, in collaboration with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the local company MC Metro Transport Operation Inc. (MMTOI).
