Digital Twin

We are developing a simulator that incorporates various data related to transportation and urban mobility, visualizing and analyzing current challenges, as well as detecting future bottlenecks and potential issues by varying traffic volume and flow patterns. This simulator can be flexibly applied to multiple cities and regions, supporting the reproduction of mobility behaviors and the extraction of issues according to urban characteristics. Furthermore, this analytical foundation is envisioned to evolve into a digital twin that reflects the overall state of the city in real-time, and in the future, it is planned to support immediate decision-making and feedback control in locations close to the site through collaboration with edge AI. We anticipate broad utilization, both public and private, as an infrastructure that enables advanced decision-making support in urban transportation.
